Mi-Wave’s 955 Series microwave and millimeter-wave V-band RF power amplifiers are designed to provide stable gain and repeatable output performance across broadband mmWave frequency coverage where waveguide interfaces, bias stability, and thermal reliability are critical. These amplifiers support laboratory, system-integration, and fielded platforms that require dependable amplification for transmit chains, driver stages, and high-frequency test systems.

A representative model in the series is the 955VF-40/385 RF Power Amplifier, operating over 50 GHz to 75 GHz in the V-band. The amplifier delivers 40 dB typical small-signal gain and provides +12 dBm typical saturated output power (Psat), with +9 dBm typical output power at 1 dB compression (P1dB). With a noise figure of 5.0 dB maximum, this unit supports wideband signal conditioning while maintaining controlled noise contribution in mmWave transmit subsystems.

The amplifier integrates using WR-15 waveguide input and output with a UG-385/U flange, enabling low-loss connectivity across the band. It operates from a +12 V DC supply with 0.15 A typical current and 1.5 W total power dissipation, supporting compact, efficient integration.
