A representative model in the series is the 955A-24/26/40/45/KFH RF Power Amplifier, designed to operate over a 24 GHz to 26 GHz frequency range within the Ka-band. This amplifier delivers a minimum small-signal gain of 40 dB, making it an excellent choice for high-gain transmit chains, driver amplifier stages, and system architectures that require substantial signal amplification before final transmission.

The unit provides +40 dBm typical output power at P1dB and +45 dBm typical saturated output power (Psat), enabling reliable high-power RF transmission for Ka-band communication, radar, and test systems. With its high gain and output capability, the amplifier is well suited for applications that demand strong signal drive and consistent performance across a defined frequency band.

In typical RF transmit chains, Ka-band power amplifiers are used after an upconverter, signal source, or driver stage to boost signal levels for antenna transmission, subsystem integration, or bench-top validation.
