Product Description

Mi-Wave’s 955 Series microwave and millimeter-wave Ka-band RF power amplifiers are designed to deliver high gain, strong output power, and stable performance for narrowband and band-specific transmit applications. These amplifiers support laboratory, fielded, and production environments where predictable RF output, linearity, and mechanical robustness are required.

A representative model in the series is the 955A-28/29/30/36/KFH RF Power Amplifier, operating over a 28 GHz to 29 GHz frequency range within the Ka-band. This amplifier provides a minimum small-signal gain of 30 dB, with up to 40 dB typical gain, making it well suited for high-gain transmit chains and driver-to-final PA stages.

The amplifier delivers +32 dBm typical output power at P1dB and +36 dBm typical saturated output power (Psat), supporting reliable RF transmission for Ka-band systems operating around the 28 GHz band. With a 2.0:1 typical VSWR, the device offers stable impedance performance for integration into RF subsystems.
