H-Plane Waveguide Bends | 8.2–325 GHz

Mi-Wave H-plane waveguide bends are high-precision transmission components designed to provide accurate directional changes in microwave and millimeter-wave systems from 8.2 GHz to 325 GHz. Available in the 670, 671, 672, and 675 Series, these precision waveguide bends are manufactured as shaped waveguide sections in standard angles of 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90°. Special angles, bend radii, and custom configurations are also available.

H-plane bends redirect RF energy in the magnetic field plane (H-plane) of the waveguide, allowing efficient routing of signals through compact assemblies, test systems, and integrated RF subsystems. Manufactured to rigid specifications, these components are designed to minimize detrimental effects on overall system VSWR and maintain reliable waveguide performance.

Mi-Wave H-Plane Bends are available in a wide range of frequencies supporting a broad range of microwave and millimeter-wave applications. Special angles, bend radii, lengths, and configurations can also be developed for custom system requirements.

Series Overview

670 Series: 90° H-Plane Bends

Provides a standard 90-degree directional change in the H-plane, commonly used for right-angle routing in waveguide systems.

671 Series: 30° H-Plane Bends

Provides a 30-degree bend, ideal for gradual directional changes and compact layout adjustments.

672 Series: 60° H-Plane Bends

Provides a 60-degree bend, offering an intermediate routing solution between moderate and sharp directional changes.

675 Series: 45° H-Plane Bends

Provides a 45-degree bend, commonly used for balanced routing and compact waveguide paths.
