Mi-Wave antenna systems can support a variety of polarization configurations, including Horizontal (H), Vertical (V), Right-Hand Circular Polarization (RHCP), and Left-Hand Circular Polarization (LHCP), depending on the antenna, feed system, and associated waveguide components. This flexibility allows antenna configurations to be tailored to the polarization requirements of communication, radar, measurement, and research systems.

For dual-linear polarization, compatible antenna systems can be integrated with Mi-Wave’s Series 281 Orthomode Transducer (OMT). The OMT separates or combines two orthogonal Horizontal and Vertical linear polarization channels within the same antenna feed architecture, supporting dual-polarized operation while maintaining independent RF signal paths.

For systems requiring circular polarization, Mi-Wave linear-to-circular polarizers can be incorporated into the antenna feed system to convert linear polarization into RHCP or LHCP. These configurations are particularly useful where polarization orientation, mismatch reduction, and circular polarization performance are important to the overall RF system.
