Mi-Wave’s 955 Series microwave and millimeter-wave W-band RF power amplifiers are designed to provide stable gain and predictable performance for high-frequency driver-stage and low-power transmit applications. These amplifiers support laboratory, system-integration, and research environments where controlled output power, low noise contribution, and waveguide integration are required.

A representative model in the series is the 955W-94/15/387 RF Power Amplifier, operating over a 92 GHz to 96 GHz frequency range in the W-band. This amplifier delivers 12 dB nominal small-signal gain across the band and is optimized for applications where moderate gain and controlled output power are required at very high frequencies. The amplifier provides +8 dBm typical saturated output power (Psat) and 0 dBm typical output power at P1dB, with measured performance up to +4.9 dBm at P1dB.

With a typical noise figure of 4 dB, this model is well suited for driver amplification, signal conditioning, and mmWave test systems where noise performance remains important ahead of higher-power amplification stages. A regulated DC bias supply supports consistent operation, and defined RF input limits protect long-term reliability.
