Product Description

Mi-Wave’s 955 Series microwave and millimeter-wave V-band RF power amplifiers are designed to deliver stable gain and reliable output power for high-frequency transmit applications. These amplifiers are well suited for commercial, defense, laboratory, and system-integration environments where predictable RF performance and compact waveguide connectivity are required.

A representative model in the series is the 955V-50/68/35/18/385 RF Power Amplifier, operating over a 50 GHz to 68 GHz frequency range within the V-band. This amplifier provides 35 dB nominal small-signal gain and delivers +15 dBm typical saturated output power (Psat), making it suitable for V-band transmit chains, driver-stage amplification, and millimeter-wave test platforms.

The unit features a WR-15 waveguide interface with UG-385/U flange, supporting efficient signal transfer and stable integration across the V-band frequency range. Operating from a +6 V to +8 V DC bias supply, the amplifier is optimized for continuous-wave operation when used within specified electrical and thermal limits. Its compact waveguide configuration makes it well suited for high-frequency transmit systems, prototypes, and mmWave validation setups.
