The 970U-47.2/51.4/1.85mmF U-Band Downconverter is designed to translate extremely high-frequency U-band RF signals from 47.2 to 51.4 GHz down to a lower millimeter-wave output band, supporting advanced sensing, communication, and experimental RF platforms.

The unit downconverts incoming U-band signals to an output frequency range of 37.5 to 42.5 GHz, enabling integration with downstream mmWave receivers, amplifiers, and signal processing hardware. This architecture supports applications where direct U-band processing is impractical and stable frequency translation is required.
