Mi-Wave’s 955 Series microwave and millimeter-wave V-band low noise amplifiers are designed for high-frequency receiver systems requiring high gain, strong output power capability, and stable performance across wide millimeter-wave bandwidths. These LNAs support laboratory, fielded, and production environments where receiver sensitivity, dynamic range, and signal integrity are critical.

A representative model in the series is the 955V-50/68/35/18/385 V-band Low Noise Amplifier, operating over a 50 GHz to 68 GHz frequency range, covering a major portion of the V-band spectrum used in satellite communications, radar systems, and advanced mmWave test platforms. This amplifier delivers 35 dB nominal small-signal gain, with measured performance reaching approximately 41 dB across the band, and provides +18 dBm typical saturated output power, with typical levels up to +19 dBm. This combination of high gain and elevated output power supports robust signal amplification in demanding V-band receiver front ends.

As the first active stage in millimeter-wave receive chains, V-band low noise amplifiers play a critical role in determining overall system noise figure and dynamic range. The 955V-50/68/35/18/385 incorporates regulated biasing, integrated waveguide interfaces, and a robust mechanical design to ensure repeatable performance under varying operating conditions.
