Mi-Wave’s 955 Series microwave and millimeter-wave V-band low noise amplifiers are designed for high-frequency receiver systems requiring high gain, low noise performance, and stable operation across wide millimeter-wave bandwidths. These LNAs support laboratory, fielded, and production environments where receiver sensitivity and signal integrity are critical.

A representative model in the series is the 955VF-40/385 V-band Low Noise Amplifier, operating over a 50 GHz to 75 GHz frequency range, fully covering the V-band spectrum used in satellite communications, radar systems, and advanced mmWave test platforms. This amplifier delivers 40 dB typical small-signal gain while maintaining a typical noise figure of 4.5 dB, enabling excellent receiver sensitivity and strong signal amplification in V-band receiver front ends.

Low noise amplifiers serve as the first active stage in millimeter-wave receive chains and play a decisive role in overall system noise figure and dynamic range. The 955VF-40/385 incorporates regulated biasing, integrated heat sinking, and a rugged mechanical design to ensure stable, repeatable performance under demanding operating conditions. Its WR-15 waveguide interface enables straightforward integration into advanced V-band millimeter-wave receiver architectures for communications, sensing, and measurement applications
