Description

The Mi-Wave 47.5–52.5 GHz U-Band RF Transmitter provides a flexible, high-performance solution for wideband signal transmission in advanced microwave and millimeter-wave systems. Engineered for precision applications, it converts DC to 10 GHz input signals to a 47.5–52.5 GHz U-Band RF output, enabling integration into modern transmit architectures.

An integrated synthesizer-based local oscillator provides stable, precise frequency control. Configuration through a graphical user interface or API commands enables remote operation, repeatable settings, and synchronization within complex systems. The synthesizer supports continuous-wave, sweep, and frequency-hop modes, including external triggering for frequency-agile signal generation and dynamic test environments.

The transmitter provides approximately 40 dB of conversion gain with low variation across the operating band. RF output power of up to +40 dBm supports high-power transmit chains and applications with demanding link-budget requirements.

An integrated 22 dB digital step attenuator enables precise output-level control. Ultra-fine phase adjustment with 0.002° resolution supports accurate signal alignment in phased-array, coherent, multichannel, and beamforming systems.

An embedded RF cavity output filter improves harmonic suppression and output spectral purity. Operating from a single +15 VDC supply, the transmitter’s compact design simplifies system integration across laboratory and fielded platforms.

Mi-Wave transmitter platforms can be customized with multichannel architectures, advanced remote-control options, and ruggedized packaging for laboratory, field, airborne, and defense installations.

Typical applications include satellite uplinks, radar transmitters, electronic warfare, telemetry, signal generation, RF test and measurement, and high-frequency research requiring high gain, controlled output power, and precise U-Band signal transmission.
