The Mi-Wave 980-2/18/10/smaF RF Transmitter provides a robust and flexible solution for wideband microwave and communication systems. Designed for applications requiring frequency agility, spectral purity, and reliable output power, the transmitter operates across a broad 2 to 18 GHz RF frequency range, covering S-, C-, X-, and Ku-band frequencies.

The transmitter supports input frequencies from 500 MHz to 4 GHz, allowing straightforward integration into modern transmit architectures. Its digitally controlled synthesized local oscillator (LO) provides precise frequency and gain adjustment through an RJ45 interface with graphical user interface (GUI). This enables convenient remote configuration, repeatable settings, and system-level synchronization.

The 980-2/18/10/smaF delivers greater than 28 dB of gain across its operating range with low gain variation. It provides RF output power up to 27 dBm and is available with 500 MHz or 1 GHz instantaneous bandwidth, supporting wideband modulation, multi-carrier signals, and high-data-rate communications.

Mi-Wave transmitter platforms can be customized with multichannel configurations, independent digital gain control, high input-power handling, and multiple RF and signal paths. Packaging options include commercial rack-mount, airborne, military, and environmentally ruggedized enclosures, making the transmitter suitable for both laboratory testing and field deployment.
