The Mi-Wave 970980UB-47.2/51.4/1.85mmF-PLO RF Transceiver provides bidirectional signal transmission, reception, and frequency conversion between the 47.2–51.4 GHz U-Band and the lower 37.5–42.5 GHz Q-Band. This architecture enables practical signal processing, testing, and system integration at millimeter-wave frequencies.

In transmit mode, the transceiver converts Q-Band signals from 37.5 to 42.5 GHz to a U-Band RF output from 47.2 to 51.4 GHz. In receive mode, incoming U-Band signals are converted to the lower Q-Band range for downstream amplification, analysis, or additional frequency conversion.

An integrated precision local oscillator (PLO) eliminates the need for a separate external LO source. This internal architecture provides stable, repeatable frequency translation while reducing external components, cabling, and overall integration complexity.

Optimized for advanced millimeter-wave signal chains, the transceiver supports low-level input signals and provides consistent output performance for communications, instrumentation, signal monitoring, and retransmission systems. A WR-19 waveguide U-Band interface supports low-loss signal handling at high frequencies, while a precision 1.85 mm female coaxial interface supports connection to Q-Band equipment and subsystems.

The 970980UB-47.2/51.4/1.85mmF-PLO operates from a DC power supply and is designed for integration into laboratories, research facilities, test platforms, and specialized fixed installations where frequency stability, compact integration, and long-term reliability are essential.
