Mi-Wave’s 977K-24.15/595 Radar Target Simulator is a precision RF test module designed to support accurate, repeatable simulation of moving radar targets in laboratory, development, and production environments. By recreating real-world radar return conditions under controlled test settings, this simulator helps reduce the cost, complexity, and time associated with field testing.

Operating at 24 GHz with a ±50 MHz bandwidth, the 977K-24.15/595 is well suited for radar system evaluation in applications where controlled target emulation and repeatable performance are essential. The unit enables engineers to simulate target motion characteristics through independent I/Q modulation, allowing realistic representation of Doppler-based radar responses for receiver and system validation.

Designed as a compact integrated subsystem, the simulator provides 12 dB routing loss, -20 dBc image rejection, and 30 dB attenuation level, supporting stable RF performance and reliable target simulation during test procedures. The unit also features 10 mA I/Q driven current, helping maintain controlled modulation performance for accurate signal processing evaluation.

The 977K-24.15/595 is configured with WR-42 waveguide and UG-595/U flange RF ports along with an SMA female I/Q connector, making it suitable for integration into microwave radar test setups and specialized RF validation systems.
