Mi-Wave’s 977V-60/385 Radar Target Simulator is a precision RF test module designed to provide accurate and repeatable simulation of moving radar targets in laboratory, development, and production environments. By replicating real-world radar return conditions under controlled settings, this system reduces the need for costly and time-intensive field testing.

Operating at 60 GHz with a ±100 MHz bandwidth, the 977V-60/385 is well suited for millimeter-wave radar systems requiring high-frequency target emulation and precise signal control. The unit supports independent I/Q modulation, enabling simulation of Doppler effects, target velocity, and motion characteristics with high accuracy.

This compact, integrated RF subsystem delivers 13 dB routing loss, -20 dBc image rejection, and 30 dB attenuation, ensuring stable RF performance and reliable signal integrity during testing. With 10 mA I/Q driven current, the module supports consistent modulation performance for validating radar receivers and signal processing systems.

The 977V-60/385 features a WR-15 waveguide with UG-385/U flange RF interface and an SMA female I/Q connector, allowing seamless integration into millimeter-wave radar test setups. As with other Mi-Wave radar target simulators, custom configurations are available to support specific frequency bands, interfaces, and application requirements.
