640 Series E-Plane Tees

Product Description

Mi-Wave’s 640 Series E-Plane Tees are block-style waveguide components designed to divide RF power into two equal output signals with an opposite-phase relationship. Each tee consists of a length of standard flanged waveguide with a perpendicular E-plane coupling arm symmetrically positioned on the broad waveguide wall.

When input power is applied to the coupling arm, the signal is divided equally between the two main output ports. Unlike H-plane tees, the two output signals are 180 degrees out of phase, making E-plane tees useful in applications where phase opposition, signal comparison, or differential behavior is required.

The 640 Series is available in standard waveguide sizes from 12.4 GHz to 110 GHz. Because these tees use unmatched junctions, they are not recommended for applications requiring low VSWR or precision impedance matching.
